ROTHERHAM United hope to have all their squad fully fit and firing for when Championship action resumes next weekend.

Striker Danny Ward has recovered from a foot injury and scored in the reserves’    2-1 defeat to Mansfield on Tuesday. He  will also feature in a behind-closed-doors game against Manchester City reserves today. Manager Steve Evans will use the match to top-up the game time for players who need it.

Defender Richard Brindley has joined League One outfit Colchester United until the end of the season while young goalkeeper Tony Thompson is off for a spell at Southport in the Conference. The club can recall both at short notice if required.
