Millers fall to Foxes

ROTHERHAM United ended their pre-season campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Leicester City at the New York Stadium.

Two first-half goals from record signing Leonardo Ulloa helped the Premier League-bound visitors assert their superiority and although substitute Kieran Agard reduced the deficit from close range just before the hour mark, Danny Drinkwater drilled in soon after to settle the contest.

It was still a good workout against a strong Leicester side, with manager Steve Evans making nine changes at half time.

Midfielder John Swift, the teenager in on loan from Chelsea, was particularly impressive while Adam Collin, who replaced Scott Loach in goal for the second half, denied Ulloa with two sharp saves.
