Millers director steps down
BRIAN Chapple has stepped down as community director of Rotherham United.
The popular community champion and former BBC Radio Sheffield football commentator had played an important role in preparations for the move to a new stadium back in the town but has decided to leave his post after his recent illness.
A club statement said: "We would like to thank Brian for his enthusiasm, passion and commitment to the club over many years and are pleased to know that we can always call on his wealth of knowledge and experience to help us move forward during these exciting times."
