Millers determined to bounce back

MANAGER Steve Evans says Rotherham United are ready and able to go on another unbeaten run, starting at Brentford tomorrow.

Having suffered an unlucky first League One defeat to Peterborough United last weekend, the Millers now face another of the division's fancied teams.

Just a point separates the sides and Brentford have been running into better form but Evans has seen enough on the training ground this week to be confident his players can go to Griffin Park and start putting points on the board again.

He told the Advertiser: "They've trained as well this week as at any time and if that take that into Saturday then I'll take whatever result that comes.

"Brentford, remember, were just a penalty miss away from reaching the Championship last season and in my view they're a better team now. They've probably got the third or fourth biggest spend in the league and they've a good manager in Uwe Rosler.

"But we're going down there in good form and with players who can rise to the big atmosphere."

The Millers will travel without the injured Claude Davis, Michael O'Connor and David Worrall.
