Millers chief sets bar high

MILLERS manager Andy Scott sends his side into the last 15 games of the season under instructions to try and win them all.

Unbeaten in four, Rotherham sit five points behind the League Two play-off frame after two draws in a week at Burton and Gillingham.

The target is to chase down seventh-place Oxford, occupying the fourth and final play-off place, starting with three points at home to Bristol Rovers tomorrow.

Scott said: "The two away points become better points if we win tomorrow. There are 15 games left and we have to win them.

"The teams above us are starting to drop points and that will continue as they play each other, so we have to keep building some momentum.

"Clearly, the game at Oxford next month is going to be a massive one and we want to be going into it on their coat-tails or level with them and be able to use that match to go above them. In order to do that we need to keep collecting points. Our sole focus is winning."

Scott reported a clean bill of health apart from forward Gareth Evans, who has now stepped up his rehab on his comeback from a back injury.

Centre-half Richard Naylor is also fit again having sat out the Gillingham game.
