MATCH REPORT: Millers bitten by Terriers
The high-flying home side struck either side of a Danny Ward effort in the first half to win 2-1 and leave the Millers locked in the Championship’s bottom three.
Alan Stubbs’ side made the home side work hard for the points but weren’t able to force an equaliser, with Tom Adeyemi putting their best chance wide late on.

Hide AdHuddersfield scored from their first attack in the first 90 seconds. Rotherham repeatedly failed to clear their lines and the ball fell for Elias Kachunga to hook in.
There were a couple more scares from Aaron Mooy and Tommy Smith but Rotherham hung in and equalised from a rare assault on 34 minutes. Joe Newell sprayed the ball out to Jon Taylor and his teasing cross was turned in by Ward for his fifth of the season.
The defensive flaws which have dogged the team this season showed again four minutes later. Town found space down the right flank and Sean Scannell released Nahki Wells to fire in off the far post.
Chasing a fifth straight home win, Huddersfield forced corner after corner in the second half without being able to kill the contest.
