Lights go out on Millers

ROTHERHAM United's first pre-season friendly was cut short by floodlight failure at Don Valley Stadium last night.

The lights went out ten minutes from time with the Millers trailing 2-1 to Leicester City.

Sheffield referee Craig Pawson stopped the game and within minutes both teams shook hands and walked off.

Millers manager Ronnie Moore included newcomers Ryan Cresswell, Tom Newey and Mark Bradley in his starting line-up.

"It was a fantastic workout for us," he said.
