'Let's stay unbeaten' says Warnock

ROTHERHAM United manager Neil Warnock has challenged his players to go the rest of the season undefeated.

And having watched them in training this week, he says they are in no mood to rest up now Championship safety is within reach.

A good result at home to Nottingham Forest tomorrow and then against Huddersfield Town at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tuesday could see the Millers home and dry.

They're unbeaten in the last eight matches, winning six of them, and have left closest rivals MK Dons trailing by nine points with only five games to go. The Dons are at Preston tomorrow.

Warnock told the Advertiser: “The lads are in great fettle, I've had to hold them back again this week.

“I set the lads a target a number of weeks ago to be undefeated until the end of the season. I've also said you can't say this game is going to be easier than that game because there's no such thing in the Championship, so I expect the next five matches to be as tough as what we've just had.”

Checks will be run on Lee Frecklington today to decide whether he is fit to play after being forced off at MK Dons last week with a calf injury.

Meanwhile. defender Lloyd Doyley will be out for the remainder of the season following knee surgery.

There's plenty more from Neil Warnock and the Millers camp in this week's Advertiser.
