'Let's make it count' says Millers ace

After a run of three games from five on the road, the utility man will be happy to see the New York Stadium again.

He started at Derby on Saturday and was dropped to the subs' bench for Tuesday's defeat at Middlesbrough.  

He'll be back in contention for a start against the Blues and doesn't want to spend the international break stewing over another defeat.

“A win is so important, especially in front of our fans because it will give everyone a lift,” he told the Advertiser. “We'll make sure we've got the right game plan to get the place jumping.

“We've been to Derby and Middlesbrough away – two of the best teams in the league. Any game at home we fancy ourselves so we'll go into it full of confidence.

“It hasn't been an easy start for the gaffer, but that's this league for you. On paper, I suppose the hard run is behind us and we've got a big game at home now.

“I think the break will work well for the gaffer to re-iterate more of his plans and his philosphy. If we can get three points then we'll go into it a lot more vibrant and can look forward to coming back after it refreshed.”
