Kerry prepares for title showdown

GOLDEN girl Kerry Louise Norbury is counting down the hours to her next shot at world championship success.

Kerry Louise returns to the ring on June 23 when she faces Italian champion Annalisa Bucci in County Durham—expected to be one of the top kickboxing fights of the year.

Already seven times world professional champion and the current world governing body, intercontinental K1 rules champion, Kerry Louise knows it will be tough but is confident she can emerge as victor, despite an 18-month lay-off through injury.

She said: “I know of Bucci's fighting career and background, and I have watched her fight on numerous occasions.

“I’m fully aware of how good she is, however I believe my training and preparation have risen me to such a level that I am prepared for absolutely anything she brings to the ring.”

Bucci holds many World titles herself and has a 44-fight record with experience in Muay Thai, MMA, kickboxing and K1 rules, which is why the bout is already a sell-out at the North East Kickboxing Academy.
