Hogdson back to give Titans a boost

PREMIERSHIP half-back Joel Hogdson will be back with Rotherham Titans — and he could be with the promotion chasing club until the end of the season.

Hogdson has been released by Newcastle Falcons for tomorrow's must-win home clash with London Scottish and coach Lee Blackett is optimistic that he can tie up a deal with Falcons boss Dean Richards to retain the classy player.

And Titans will sign two more players next week to give them a hefty shot in the arm for the season run-in.

"We'd like to think we'll get three new players, the other two being a centre and a back row. They will add to the squad and will challenge for first team positions to freshen things up.

"We were strong in the back row but because of injuries we're down to bare bones and we need more strength there."
