Hockey girls slip
ROTHERHAM Hockey Club's ladies went down 1-0 at Durham University in North Two in a game with few chances.
The visitors’ best chances fell to Emma Hughes and Hannah Philips, whose shots were well saved.
There was battling play in midfield from Jo Butt and Sam Hale which led to some promising runs from Kelly Robinson and Kayleigh Dunwell, however they continually failed to find the crucial final ball.
They were punished two minutes from time when Durham broke into the D and slotted the ball home.
