HOCKEY: First league win gives Rotherham fresh hope

ROTHERHAM rediscovered the winning feeling with a morale-boosting first league success of the season.

They beat City of York's second string 4-2 at Bawtry Road to give a shot in the arm to their relegation fight near the foot of Yorkshire & North East Division One.

After drawing at York earlier in the season, Rotherham got the job done this time with a great team performance built on good organisation.
