Harriers ready for top event
ROTHERHAM Harriers expect to enter full teams in all age groups for Sunday’s Yorkshire Championships.
The event will be held for the first time at the Northern Racing College, between Doncaster and Bawtry. As the course is used for horse training gallops on Saturdays, the championships will be run, unusually, on a Sunday.
It will double up as the Humberside Cross Country Championships and both counties will be using it as a team selection trial for the Inter-Counties event in Cofton Park, Birmingham, on March 5.
Sunday’s programme starts at 11.10am.
