Frecklington succeeds Halford as skipper
Lee Frecklington has been appointed the new skipper, leaving Halford to concentrate on rediscovering the form that prompted the Millers to sign him from Nottingham Forest this summer.
The much-travelled 30-year-old has had a shaky start at the heart of the defence and his position was put under fresh scrutiny by supporters after last Saturday's home defeat to Fulham.

Hide AdEvans had decided a change was needed and made it after talks with Halford and his coaching staff.
Frecklington, a major figure in the club's rise through the divisions, was the resounding choice as his successor.
Evans told the Advertiser: “I wanted Greg Halford to work but it was obvious to me and the staff that it has become a problem. It has affected his performances and he has accepted that. We've had chats with Greg and the most important thing is that he gets his own game right.
“I have never been afraid to make tough decisions or admit that I have got things wrong and I am not afraid to say I got it wrong with Greg.
