Sweet treat for mums at Rotherham United Women's Mother's Day fixture
MUMS get free entry – and a complimentary cupcake – at Rotherham United Women this weekend.
The Millers are marking Mother's Day by inviting all mums to enjoy free entry to Sunday's match against Stamford at the Rotherham Hospice Community Stadium in Rawmarsh (2pm start).
Club captain Sidni Simmons said: "What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than bringing your mum to cheer us on against Stamford?
"We'd love to see loads of families down at the ground as we aim to bag all three points."
RUWFC haven't played a home game in the East Midlands Regional League Premier Division since before Christmas. A series of cup and league matches away from home have made up their 2026 calendar so far.
They are looking to finish the season strongly despite promotion being out of reach.
Following this weekend’s game, RUWFC are at home again a week on Sunday (2pm) against SJR Worksop in their final home game.
Meanwhile, Millers players Sidni Simmons, Erren Davies, Ella Mortimer, Emily Fowler and Gracie Russell-Dunstan have completed the Rotherham Hospice Colour Run.
The club also supports the charity through the name of its home ground.
