DAVID Ball saluted the character of the depleted Millers for fighting back to take a point against Plymouth.

As at Blackpool last week, the powers of recovery of Paul Warne’s side was tested, but with the onus on ten men this time after Richard Wood’s sending off.

Ball said: “We were a bit disappointed in terms of the yellow card for Woody, the second one was a bit cheap really and it changed the concept of the game, but again we showed character to come back from 1-0 down.

“Up until the sending-off we had complete control.  It was good to play in and hopefully good to watch in terms of passing and movement and keeping the ball and being patient.

“We’ve another home game now next week and there are four games over the festive period to get back to where we want to be."
