The big stopper proved an unlikely hero by netting the decider for Slovakia U21s last night.

Slovakia were locked at 2-2 in an important European Championships qualifier against Iceland in Reykjavik when Rodak raced from his goal to join the attack in the closing minutes.

It proved a masterstroke, with Rodak popping up in the penalty box to guide a header into the bottom corner.
