Ryan One and a possible new-year move to Rotherham United for the Sheffield United forward
STRIKER Ryan One is believed to be one of the main targets for Rotherham United as they bid to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window.
The Sheffield United teen is regarded as a top prospect by the Blades but is unlikely to feature much in their Championship campaign.

A loan switch to the League One Millers - who have made adding to their firepower a new-year priority - would be an ideal move for the 19-year-old as he seeks to accelerate his progress and build up his game time.
It is understood that there has been contact between the two clubs about the Scottish youth international and a potential move across the Parkway.
Rotherham already have a young Blades player in Jamal Baptiste doing well for them during a temporary stay and the defender is loving life at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Baptiste and One are close friends and the former is likely to have spoken well to the latter about Rotherham and manager Matt Hamshaw - who built his coaching reputation on developing teenage talent.
Blades boss Chris Wilder is wary about loaning out too much of his junior pool this month but is ready to allow some youngsters leave for a taste of senior football.
One is behind Patrick Bamford, Tyrese Campbell, Danny Ings and Tom Cannon in the pecking order and could be one of those given the green light to make a temporary exit from Bramall Lane.
The drop-zone Millers are desperate for new blood up front, with Sam Nombe suffering injuries, Jordan Hugill struggling for goals, Josh Kayode in the treatment room, Martin Sherif having returned to parent club Everton and another loanee, Kion Etete, maybe going back to Cardiff City.
One, who is strong and quick, scored in a 5-0 win against Rotherham in a pre-season friendly at New York during the short reign of Ruben Selles.
He has since gone on to make six Championship appearances this term but hasn't featured since a 0-0 draw at Queens Park Rangers on November 8. Last season, he racked up 12 second-tier outings.
Born in Lanarkshire, he played for Hamilton Academical and attracted interest from Brighton & Hove Albion before joining Sheffield United in 2023 and making his debut as a Premier League substitute against Arsenal.
Wilder said recently: “There’s a lot of interest in a few of the young boys. We'll wait and see how everything develops. I'm certainly not going to leave us light at all.”
