Rotherham United's Chiedozie Ogbene impresses in the Republic of Ireland's defeat to France
The Irish were pipped 1-0 in last night's Euro 2024 qualifer by Benjamin Pavard's stunning second-half winner.
But Ogbene was the man who shone against Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud and the rest.

"What a shift he's put in to try and cover against Mbappe and then he's probably the Republic's biggest threat in forward areas."
Ogbene got the winner in last week's 3-2 win over Latvia, scoring only 60 seconds after going on as a sub.
Speaking after last night's game, he said: "I've always said I want to go to the next level.

Ogbene will be back with the Millers in time for Saturday's Championship test away to Hull City.
