Rotherham United hit the road as they open their FA Cup campaign
This evening’s draw hasn’t been kind
Rotherham United face a long trip to face unglamorous opposition from the division above in the first round of the FA Cup.

The draw was made this evening and it paired the League Two Millers with League One strugglers Bromley.
The south-east London club finished as champions in the fourth tier last season, but they find themselves in the third-tier relegation places this term, having lost their last four matches.
Rotherham fans face a 400-mile round trip if they want to support Alex Bruce's side in the tie which is set to take place on Saturday November 8.
Bromley were a non-league outfit until 2024 when they won the National League Play-off Final to enter the Football League.
Last year, the Millers, then in League One, were beaten 2-1 in the first round by League Two Swindon Town.
The Rotherham and Bromley have met only once before - in the FA Cup first round in 2021 when then-manager Paul Warne's men were 3-0 victors at AESSEAL New York Stadium, with Ben Wiles, Freddie Ladapo and Will Grigg scoring the goals.
