Rotherham United exit for Peter Kioso in Peterborough United loan switch

The right-back suffered a frustrating first season with the Millers last term, managing only 13 appearances through a combination of injuries and falling out of favour with new manager Matt Taylor.

The 23-year-old, signed by former boss Paul Warne from Luton Town last summer, is dropping down a division from the Championship in search of more game-time.

Taylor once tried to sign the player, who can also operate as a wing-back, when he was in charge at Exeter City but clearly hasn't seen enough in him with the Millers to think he can have a big impact in the second tier.

The former Hartlepool United man has two years left on his contract at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Rotherham remain in the market for at least five more new signings in this transfer window.
