Raynor disappointed not to win
It was a decent point from an entertaining 0-0 draw but Raynor wishes it could have been three.
He said: "We changed things tactically after 25 minutes and imposed ourselves on the game and were a bit more of an attacking force.
"The second half was more pleasing because we created more opportunities and in the end we were probably disappointed not to come away with three points.
"Having said that, (Preston manager) Simon Grayson is experienced and has got teams out of League One before so we always knew it was going to be difficult. People are going to come here and make it easy for us.
"We will see how good a draw it is later in the season when the points tallies come in."
The Millers will give game time to some of their first-teamers in the reserves against Hartlepool at Parkgate today (2pm).
Having started their league campaign with two draws, they gun for a first win away to Crawley Town on Saturday, a fixture that takes Raynor and manager Steve Evans back to their former club.
