Hide AdMillers boss Evans felt his side came close to securing a place in the second round. He said: “We deserved to win the cup tie. I think they’ll feel a little fortunate to have gone through.
"I think the referee had a poor game, but he’s not the excuse because we played very well against a good Championship side."
