Permanent deal: January arrival number two for Rotherham United
ROTHERHAM United today made their second signing of the new-year transfer window as they landed Norwich City centre-half Emmanuel Adegboyega.
The 22-year-old has signed a contract that keeps him at AESSEAL New York Stadium until the end of next season.

The Millers have had him on their radar since the summer and fought off competition from League One rivals Stevenage to get their man.
His arrival comes nine days after they began their January recruitment by bringing in Leeds United teenage striker Harry Gray on loan.
Adegboyega, who was born in the Republic of Ireland, never broke into the Canaries first team, but he has racked up senior experience with loan spells at Drogheda, Walsall and Dundee United.
He played 14 times for League Two Walsall in the second half of the 2023/24 campaign and last season made 34 appearances for Scottish Premiership Dundee United.
Rotherham say he comes to New York for an “undisclosed fee” and haven't revealed if the deal went through in time for him to be in the squad for tomorrow's home clash with AFC Wimbledon.
He met his new teammates for the first time at the club’s Roundwood training base today.
Manager Matt Hamshaw had been seeking to boost his backline numbers because loanee Thomas Holmes has returned to parent club Luton Town and he is willing to sanction the departure of other defenders in the closing stages of the window.
His attention will now turn to signing another centre-forward and, if he gets the green light to spend further, a wide man.
