ROTHERHAM United's League One match at Lincoln City scheduled for September 4 has been postponed because of the forthcoming round of international matches.

Winger Shane Ferguson has already been summoned by Northern Ireland and the Millers, with more call-ups imminent, have rearranged the Imps clash for ten days later.

It will now kick off at 7.45pm on Tuesday September 14.

Some national teams have yet to make their squad announcements.

Defender Wes Harding is in the frame for Jamaica while striker Josh Kayode is likely to be in the Republic of Ireland under-21 set-up

There could be complications in Harding's case because Jamaica are due to play in two countries on the UK's Covid Red List, Mexico and Costa Rica.

EFL clubs have voted not to release players if games are taking place in Red List regions.

Domestic teams need to have three players receiving international call-ups before seeking a postponement.
