The 19-year-old centre back, who is on a season long loan deal from Premier League club Middlesbrough, was called up for the England U20 squad along with fellow loanee Izzy Brown.
 
But Fry, who has impressed since moving to South Yorkshire in his six appearances to date, is thought to have moved up to train with captain Rooney and co because of injuries to first team regulars.

DAEL FRY SEEN TRAINING WITH THE ENGLAND SENIOR SQUAD
Fry isn't thought to be in contention for the Three Lions' World Cup qualifier against Malta on Saturday, but it is understood he won't take part in the U20s fixture against the Netherlands tonight (7pm).
