MATCHDAY CENTRE: Player ratings from South Yorkshire derby

IT'S never a nice task having to dish out player ratings following a 4-0 defeat at your local rivals.

Especially when you've been outplayed and outfought, as Rotherham United were against Barnsley on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Lee Camp showed his player of the year form from last season to keep the score as low as it was and on several occasions he dug the Millers' defence out of trouble.

The midfield was, for large parts, non-existent for Rotherham and was dominated by the lively duo of Barnsley captain Conor Hourihane and partner Josh Scowen.

The attack was blunt and easily dealt with by a home side containing debutant Angus MacDonald in the heart of its defence.
