Jamie Jellis setback for Rotherham United
Midfielder ‘struggling’, says Millers boss
Rotherham United wrapped up a successful transfer window by taking their number of summer signings to 15, but they may be without one of their new boys for longer than expected.

Forwards George Sebine and Klaidi Lolos arrived late on deadline day on Tuesday evening - the same night that the League Two Millers twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at unbeaten Tranmere Rovers.
Midfielder Jamie Jellis, a July incoming, missed that match, and his calf injury has turned out to be more severe than initially anticipated.
Rotherham had forecast he would sit out only one game. However, he has now been absent for the last two and is unlikely to make Saturday's trip to table-topping Bristol Rovers.
"He's still struggling," said boss Alex Bruce. "It's a bit more serious than we thought."
The Millers haven't lost since opening day and have been boosted by the deals that brought Sebine and Lolos to AESSEAL New York Stadium..
The former is 19 and has made a handful of League One appearances for Huddersfield Town, scoring once.
The latter is 25 and is a Peterborough United player. He hasn't opened his account in seven league appearances for his parent club following a 2025 move from Bolton Wanderers, but he has previously had a decent goal record with Crawley Town.
Another new boy, Manchester United teenager Jayce Fitzgerald, made an eye-catching debut at Tranmere when he came on as a substitute in the second half.
The 19-year-old loanee immediately showed off his skills in his first-ever senior outing and he played a part in the stoppage-time penalty, converted by Tom Bradshaw, that snatched a point at Prenton Park.
It was his pass into Bradshaw that led to the forward being felled and then getting up to coolly convert the spot-kick in front of more than 500 travelling fans.
"Jayce did very well," said Bruce. "He played without fear. He took the ball. There was a little jinky run at one point. The way he grabbed hold of the ball … I think the supporters liked that.
"He has the ability to pass forward. He wasn't afraid of trying to hit a 'diagonal'. He tried things. It's a different kind of bravery when you continually want the ball. He showed that when he came on. I was really pleased with him."
Sheffield United attacker Louie Marsh had been a Millers loan target but the Blades man moved to their League Two rivals, Chesterfield.
Meanwhile, Rotherham youngster James Clarke has headed to Ossett United for a short-term stay with the Northern Premier League Division One East outfit.
The midfielder featured in pre-season matches but hadn't made the squad since the start of the new campaign.
