The prolific striker has won the prize for January to go with the recognition he also received in October.
Smith scored four times last month - five if you include his disputed second goal at Crewe Alexandra that is likely to be officially recorded as an 'og' for keeper David Richards - as table-topping Rotherham kept up their League One promotion momentum.

"The desire he shows as a centre-forward to help his team is pretty remarkable," the boss said.
A judging panel including Sky TV EFL pundit Don Goodman chose the Rotherham frontman for the award ahead of three other nominees: Fleetwood Town attacking midfielder Paddy Lane, MK Dons defender Dean Lewington and Morecambe hitman Cole Stockton.
Smith, who joined Rotherham on a free transfer from Bury four years ago, has 20 goals and six assists to his name this season.
