SIX OF THE BEST at Hillsborough


A crowd of 54,846, including 5,000 who travelled on five special trains from Rotherham, saw the newly-promoted Millers win 5-3 in the old Division Two. Jack Shaw scored two of them


The result on one of the club's greatest ever nights, the win over the mighty Arsenal in an FA Cup third round second replay. More than 56,000 at Hillsborough saw the Gunners downed by goals from Brian Sawyer and Keith Kettleborough

...and the year of the "divot". Whether the ball took a fortuitous bounce on scuffed turf before Joe McBride scored or not, it didn't matter. The Emlyn Hughes-led Millers left Sheffield 6 with a 1-0 win


The number of minutes on the clock when Richie Barker headed a last-minute winner right under the noses of the kop. It was the first of two league wins at Hillsborough in 2002, both from last gasp winners


The score again when Rotherham returned to Hillsborough in August 2002 and upset the Owls again, this time with a late screamer from Darren Garner


...and an epic League Cup win. The ten-man Millers slipped behind late in extra time only for Reuben Reid to make it 2-2 and take the tie to penalties. Rotherham won the shootout at 5-3, with Reid despatching the winning kick
