DEADLINE DAY: Tom Thorpe joins Bolton
BOLTON Wanderers snatched Rotherham United's versatile defender Tom Thorpe after the transfer window had shut.
The former Manchester United youth captain has signed for the League One club on a season long loan.
The 23-year-old has made just 10 appearances for the Millers since signing on a free contract last summer.
Thorpe - a Steve Evans signing - spent the second half of last season on loan at Bradford, where current Bolton boss Phil Parkinson used to manage.
He is out of contract in the summer.
