Centre-back with 650-plus matches on trial with Millers
ROTHERHAM United are handing a chance to a vastly-experienced centre-half to earn a League Two contract at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Tom Lees is a free agent after parting company with League One Peterborough United at the end of last season and is training with the Millers.

Now aged 35, he has spent much of a career spanning more than 650 matches at Championship level and could be a backline leader as Rotherham attempt to fight back from third-tier relegation.
"He's one that we're looking at," head coach Alex Bruce told the Advertiser after this afternoon's 1-1 draw in a pre-season friendly at non-league Matlock Town.
"Obviously, he's an experienced player. I've known Tom for a long time. He's been in a couple of times to do a couple of sessions. We've got to monitor him.
"His pedigree speaks for itself. We need to make sure it's right for Tom and make sure he's right for us. We're going to see how that pans out over the next few days."
Lees started out at Leeds United and then spent seven years with Sheffield Wednesday, making in excess of 250 appearances for the Owls. He then featured in over 150 games for Huddersfield Town over a four-year spell with the Terriers.
He has a good fitness record and played 36 times for Peterborough last term.
Meanwhile, old boy Kyle Vassell scored from the penalty spot as the Millers came from behind to draw against their Northern Premier League East Division opponents on a poor surface today.
The 34-year-old, who is on trial at his former club, could have finished with a hat-trick and fellow attacker Fabio Tavares should have scored at least once in a contest that saw new signings Ossama Ashley, Jamie Jellis and Aaron Nemane make their debuts.
"We had a few one-on-ones," said Bruce. "I think the pitch played a part with the one that Fabio missed after he went round the keeper. We created some chances.
"I can't really think of our keepers having many saves to make. On the whole, it was an okay afternoon."
