Boss Matt Taylor on Jamie McCart's wait for a first Rotherham United league start
The 25-year-old’s attitude while he’s being forced to play a waiting game in his bid to get his Millers career up and running has come in for praise from his boss.
“He trains second to none,” Taylor said. “He’s a fantastic character.”

The Scot joined the club in June, when Paul Warne was in charge, but was sidelined by a quad issue soon after his arrival and Rotherham went on to add Cameron Humphreys, Grant Hall and Lee Peltier to their centre-back options.
Skipper Richard Wood and Wes Harding have also been in front of him in the queue for a first-team spot.
Another quad problem ruled him out of action in the fixtures leading up to the month-long World Cup break. He is fit again now but didn’t make the squad for the trip to West Bromwich Albion and was an unused substitute at home to Stoke City on Boxing Day.

“He’s obviously a good player. It’s just that question of where he can fit in in an area where we are quite strong in terms of numbers.
“It will be interesting to see how he can manoeuvre himself into the team.”
