Evans expects strong Villa line-up

ASTON Villa are expected to turn out a strong side for tomorrow's Capital One Cup clash against the Millers.

Villa were bumped out of the same competition in the semi-finals by Bradford City last season and Steve Evans says they won't want to be humbled again.

That should mean star men like Christian Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor seeing game time in the second round tie, which will be the club's last match for ten days.

Evans told the Advertiser: "I will be very surprised if Paul Lambert doesn't put out his strongest side.

"He'll see this as a competition Villa can do well in. He'll remember that Bradford tie and won't want to run the risk of going out to another lower league club."

The tie kicks off at 7.45pm, with a crowd of around 25,000 expected at Villa Park.
