Errie forced to call it quits

ONE of the most popular Rotherham Titans players of recent times has been forced to hang up his boots.

South African Errie Claassens played 90 times for the Clifton Lane club after making his debut in 2005, carving his name in the club history books with 190 points.

The 32-year-old today announced his retirement after struggling with a knee injury following his summer move to London Scottish.

Claassens said: “If you can't give 100 per cent then it is very tough to carry on and not fair to myself or my teammates."
