Death of top local footballer
THE local football scene is mourning the death of footballer Steve Burns.
A well-known and prolific goal scorer for Rotherham Sunday League side AFP, Steve died last night after a long illness.
Paying tribute, former AFP manager Geoff Swann tweeted: "Last night we lost a legend at such a young age. Life is cruel."
