Colts through to final

ROTHERHAM Rugby Club Colts are through to the Yorkshire Cup Final after pulling off a hard-fought win at top side Sheffield.

And, says coach Sam Coy, it’s the first time the club has made the county shootout.

Said former Titans prop Sam: “What a game and what a win. This is the first time Rotherham Colts have made the final of the Yorkshire Cup  to my knowledge and we’re ready to face anyone.

“Wharfedale are the other finalists and the final will be played at Hull Ionions on April 28. They are the favourites, so bring it on!”

Colts, who have won their division of the Yorkshire League with two games remaining, went through after a 13-10 victory at Abbeydale.
