OUTGOING coach Alex Codling praised Rotherham for their 25-19 win at Doncaster on Saturday  - and intends going out with a bang.

Codling, who last week resigned as the Clifton Lane coach, was delighted with the way the players responded to the off-field problems by claiming a hard-fought win.

He said: "Before the game, we worked harder in some respects than we have ever done before.

"I was thrilled with the response of the players in difficult conditions. No we've got three games at home and one away and we want to go out on a high and try and win them all."

Titans took the win thanks to three tries in a ten-minute second half burst. Mike Doneghan, Eamonn Sheridan and a penalty try put Doncaster in arrears at 25-12 before a later score from Dougie Flockhart gave them a late consolation.

Titans are next in action a week on Saturday when Cornish Pairates come to Clifton Lane.
