Coaching team wins boss's approval

Coach Eric Black will become assistant manager and work alongside existing fitness coach Paul Warne and goalkeeping coach Andy Dibble.

Redfearn says their experience will be invaluable as he sets about leading the Millers up the Championship, starting at Brentford on Saturday.

He also says he won't necessarily be rushing into the transfer market to strengthen the team.

"We will give the lads an opportunity and decide from there," said Redfearn, who has signed a contract to the end of the 2017/18 season.
