FIVE on the spin...now for number 6!

That's the message from Clifton Lane after Rotherham Titans' gritty 25-14 triumph over Plymouth Albion at the weekend, which made it a nap hand of wins in a row and took the side up to second in the National One table.

And head coach Joe Barker has admitted that the victory was a result of the ongoing development of his team.

"Might we have lost this match earlier in the season? Yes," said Barker, "That's a massive sign of improvement.

"At the start of the season we would probably have had to defend driving mauls and given a few more penalties away and put ourselves under a lot more pressure.

"Now the players wait on situations and adapt to them and we held Plymouth off mostly."

In a dogged display, Rotherham kept the scoreboard ticking over and defended superbly as Albion came back strongly late on.
