Clock is ticking for duo

TIME is running out for Craig Morgan and Ben Pringle to commit their futures to Rotherham United.

Both have been offered new and improved contracts and manager Steve Evans would like decisions from both by next week.

The Advertiser understands there has been interest in the pair from other clubs, the two having played big parts in the first season back in the Championship.

But while skipper Morgan and Pringle, who has just completed his fourth season at the club, remain a big part of Evans' plans, he needs swift decisions on both so he can push on with recruitment.

It has been a quiet start to the close season so far as the club sizes up potential targets and no news is expected on new arrivals this week.

Another friendly has been added to the pre-season roster.

The Millers will play Grantham Town at The South Kesteven Sports Stadium on Saturday, July 11 (3pm).
