BREAKING: Defender Ball hooks up with Millers

CENTRE-HALF Dominic Ball has joined Rotherham United on a three-year deal from Spurs for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old helped Glasgow Ranges win promotion back to the SPL last season , making 21 appearaces on loan, and it is understood the Ibrox club wanted to keep him.

But with Spurs willing to let him go permanently, the Millers have moved to secure his services, making him their ninth signing of the summer.

Ball came through the youth ranks at Tottenham and has played international football at youth level for both Northern Ireland and England. He also had a loan spell at Cambridge last year before playing in Scotland.

He could be in contention when the Millers visit Aston Villa tomorrow in the Championship.
