The Rotherham middleweight prospect will be on the bill at Sheffield Arena in July against a yet-to-be-disclosed opponent.

Matchroom, his promoters, are building the Eastwood fighter's image and levels of experience — and are hopeful he will continue his remarkable ascent in the sport of boxing after forcing five stoppages.

Bostan said: “We are back at home for this one, so I am going to make sure I do a number on this next guy in front of everyone ... six knockouts!”

The former Clifton Community pupil (now 21) will be a support attraction on the Eddie Hearn bill topped by Dalton Smith (Sheffield) vs Sam Maxwell (Hackney) in their battle for the British and Commonwealth Super-Lightweight titles on Saturday, July 1, live worldwide on the DAZN streaming service.

Bostan will be fresh from a Nevada, USA training camp, which followed his chilling demolition of Peter Kramer at Nottingham Arena in February.

It will be his second appearance on the big stage at Sheffield Arena — not bad going for a boxer who only turned professional 15 months ago.

Matchroom are certainly convinced they are backing a winner.

Their public relations bandwagon is trumpeting his next fight with an online picture of their man in action with the caption: “When Bostan smells blood, it's over. Out to continue his 100 per cent KO streak on July 1.”

Bostan says his timing and speed, along with the right nutrition and conditioning, has been the reason why he has chalked up five KOs.

He says he wants to go the traditional route to ring glory, via Central area, English, European and Commonwealth belts.
