Big test for Rotherham boxers

Mansouri takes on Simone Lucas in his first light-middleweight outing since last month’s Prizefighter semi-final defeat and welterweight Gaynor fights Manchester’s William Warburton.

Coldwell has high hopes for both fighters but knows that defeat for either tonight will rock them back on their heels.

“Both Nav and Chad will go onto big things next year but they have to make sure there are no slips on the way,” he said.

“Both have dangerous opponents and both could come a cropper. Obviously they want to post good, solid victories to set them up nicvely for what we want to achieve in 2013.

Mansouri and Gaynor are part of a five-fight bill which also feature’s Maxi Hughes take on Andrejs Podusovs.
