Big guns set to clash

The Sunday League’s top two meet at Herringthorpe Stadium on Tuesday night (7.30pm), aiming to join Sunnyside and Memories in the last four.

Sunnyside hit form as they swept home 7-1 against Millmoor Juniors’ Sunday side, going ahead through Sam Sweeney on the quarter hour.

Phil Roberts then added a brace, including a penalty, before strikes from John Hammond, Phil Coultard, Paul Robinson and Sam Sweeney completed the rout. Michael Clarke replied for Millmoor.

It was a tighter affair as Mexborough Sunday League outfit Memories ousted Reresby Arms 1-0.
