Bester steps up player search

TITANS have confirmed the signings of new centres Byron Godfrey and Simeon Jones - and coach Andre Bester isn't finished there.

After Saturday's 25-22 scrape against Easher, despite hogging possession for most of the game, Bester has stepped up his search for more new blood to give extra clout to his side's pack with a front row forward a priority.

He said: "We're delighted to have brought in Godfrey and Jones and they will certainld add to our squad.

"But I know we need more new faces to improve other areas of the squad and that will now become our priority. Hopefully we will have developments within the next few weeks."

Godfrey and Jones will be available for selection next week.

Titans had to come from 22-12 down in the second half to beat Mike Schmid's Esher on Saturday a late Joe Bedford try squaring matters with Jual Pablo Socino sealing the win woth a penalty six minutes from time.
