Be our 12th man, says Jonson

JONSON Clarke-Harris says the supporters can help repair the Millers' fragile confidence by lifting the roof at the AESSEAL New York Stadium tomorrow.

The striker (pictured) has toiled as much as anyone in recent matches but hasn't scored since Boxing Day.

Having drawn three successive blanks, Rotherham are suffering their longest goals drought since going four matches without scoring 15 months ago.

Clarke-Harris is under scrutiny with the rest of the players but says the right sort of noise from the stands is needed in the current situation.

“It's a confidence thing for everybody,” he told the Advertiser. “We are lacking in the final third at the moment and as a striker, it's always going to be tough playing up there. I didn't get any chances against Reading but I've just got to do my job and it's on to Saturday now against Brentford.

“We can't give up, we've got to keep trying. Two wins and we're back in it, in fact we're in it now because everybody can beat everybody and nobody can take anything for granted.

“We're not trying to take draws, we're trying to win every single game and we'll do the same this weekend.

“What we need is everyone behind us, absolutely everybody to give the boys a good rise. We need lots of supporters there to be the 12th man.”
