Are you a good sport?

FUN is on the agenda for sporting kids in Rotherham—and you can join them.

Children in the town have the opportunity to take part in a sport extravaganza on Sunday as part of the 2010 Rotherham North Sport Festival at Ferham Park as locals are brought together for a day of fun and activities.

Teams will be taking part in four different sports, with everyone having the opportunity to tackle field hockey, basketball, football and athletics. The winning squad will receive the Rotherham North Sports Cup.

The size of the squad must be between seven and ten, with at least two boys and two girls, and the participants must be either Y4, Y5  or Y6 at school. Groups will be expected to take part in all four promoted sports on the day.

Teams must arrive at noon to register in order to start the competition at 12.30pm, with the events finishing at 4.30pm.

There will be short breaks between the four games and presentations will then take place from 4.30pm—5pm.
