Agard wins it for Millers

KIERAN Agard struck the only goal of the game to give Rotherham United the points at Notts County and maintain their unbeaten start in League One

The forward pounced from a Michael O’Connor free-kick eight minutes before half time to seal a deserved three points.

Ben Pringle and Agard both had chances to extend the advantage either side of half time and it took a great save to deny Lee Frecklington late on.

County, without a league win so far, offered very little going forward against a Millers back line that lost Mark Bradley and Kari Arnason to injury.

That meant a late run for Pablo Mills, back at the club on a short term contract, before Steve Evans' men saw out five minutes of stoppage time to claim their second away league win on the spin.
